14 Reasons 2015 Was The Worst Ever Year For WWE Creative

5. Divas Revolution

What a failure. This was such a huge swing-and-a-miss for WWE Creative and Vince McMahon whom is rumored to be heavily involved in planning the divas' storylines. It's such a shame too because the women that were called up to WWE, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch, are talented wrestlers. To start, excluding Natalya right off the bat was a gross disservice to the company, as well as Natty. It's awful that Tyson Kidd suffered a terrifying, life-threatening neck injury right around the the start of this angle, but Natalya could certainly have been incorporated in some fashion. At least put her name out there as a "Who's side is she on?" type of tease to keep fans engaged. Instead of slowly injecting these three NXT call-ups into the main roster to compete for Nikki Bella's historic championship, the company blew it by hotshotting these women into the angle all at once. All of this is without even mentioning the involvement of superheel Stephanie McMahon and her sudden, inexplicable on-screen spearheading of the entire ordeal as if she was some sort of beloved babyface. Ugh, 2015.
