14 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 16)

'Best In The World'? Worst Stunner in the world...

Kevin Owens Shane McMahon

Kevin Owens is WWE's latest anti-authority babyface, and he's doling out Stunners almost as much as Steve Austin did back in the 90s.

The tale is an easy, relatable one for fans, but it's overdone. Most can probably guess the next chapter in the story before it happens, and everyone knows there are a few lengthy grudge matches between KO and Shane McMahon coming over the next couple of months. One might even prepare Shane for a WWE Title push.

There are 14 things you might've missed from this week's SmackDown, but the biggest came from McMahon himself. He's obviously been sitting under the learning tree of his old man when it comes to taking the classic finish. Tuesday's Stunner was full of historical Attitude, in more ways than one.

Other Easter eggs include Charlotte Flair wearing real-life pride on her face, Cesaro continuing to be 'Mr. Professional', ancient movies being referenced, ancient SmackDown General Managers being referenced, other botches worth seeing and Dolph Ziggler making sure he didn't run out of time.

Nobody wants that. This isn't an AEW pay-per-view, after all...
