10. Mankind Saves The Undertaker

The following entry will be written exclusively in the pig squeals that Mick Foley harnessed whilst portraying Mankind from 1996 onwards. Only joking. One couldn't do them justice in text form anyway. Foley signing with the WWF was the best thing that could've happened to The Undertaker in the mid-90s, and looking back over many of their iconic matches on Netflix proves it.

Jim Ross thought Mick would be a fab opponent for 'The Deadman', and he was right. Finally, after years of slow-moving, zombie-style bouts vs. lumbering giants, 'Taker had a dynamic bump machine who could shift when needed. That upped the intensity of his matches, and it's why this specific period of such a lengthy, epic career was chosen for the collection.

Bouts between Mankind and Undertaker at King Of The Ring, SummerSlam, In Your House: Buried Alive and Survivor Series in 1996 are all available on Netflix, and so is the deadly Hell In A Cell war from KOTR 1998. VICE even put together an entire 'Dark Side Of The Ring' episode on that one match. They did so for a reason. It changed the game forever, and it almost ended Foley's life.

Solely focusing on HIAC doesn't tell the full story though. If you've never had the pleasure, then you need to see their first pay-per-view effort from KOTR '96, the 'Boiler Room Brawl' and Paul Bearer's shocking turn from SummerSlam, and their inventive 'Buried Alive' match.

Top Recommendation: Literally everything. It's hard to discount King Of The Ring 1998 for historical value and wow factor, but a match at Survivor Series 1996 comes highly recommended.
