15 Awesome WWE Sagas To Binge-Watch On Netflix Over Christmas

9. Becky Lynch’s Rise As ‘The Man’

Not one living soul could've predicted that Becky Lynch would headline 2019's WrestleMania 35 the previous summer. She'd "turned heel" on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2018, but fans rebelled against that idea and Becky smartly leaned into their love without being all happy go lucky or smiley. Instead, she put across 'Stone Cold'-ish swagger and became WWE's new favourite anti-hero.

It's harder to find Becky's formative moments as 'The Man' than it should be on Netflix. There aren't too many TV episodes from her peak run between 2018-2019 available, unfortunately. If you can find any at all, that is! Thankfully, the PLE side is present. That means you can see her pulsating Royal Rumble 2019 triumph in full, then follow the journey all the way to immortality at 'Mania 35.

Admittedly, having even select episodes of weekly television would help mightily here, but WWE's video packages on the pay-per-view do fill in the gaps of the story. They're worth seeing too, because Becks came across as the biggest star in the industry during her march towards headlining the biggest show of the entire year.

There will be clips from her thunderous backstage brawl with 'Mania foes Ronda Rousey and Flair, as well as that punch from Nia Jax which made Lynch look like the real baddest woman on the planet. Things did slide a fair bit after WrestleMania, but you can watch some of those PPV bouts too if they take your fancy.

Top Recommendation: It has to be 'Mania 35. Lynch, Rousey and Flair became the first women to headline WWE's premier event.
