15 Best Ever Face Vs Face WWE Matches

3. Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior - WrestleMania 6

In 1990, reigning WWE Champion Hulk Hogan took on the Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior at this time was being looked at to be Hulk Hogan€™s successor and to lead WWE into the 1990€™s. While that didn€™t end up happening, this night set him up to be as successful as anything could. Subsequently, in Toronto, Canada in front of 67,000 fans, a rivalry that started in the 1990 Royal Rumble was set to climax. It was dubbed The Ultimate Challenge, and was based on which man was the more incredible force. Prior to this point, WWE never let good guys face each other. Undoubtedly, that added to the novelty of this contest. Furthermore, this is known as one of the greatest face vs face contests due to it being literally split down the middle. The power of all the Warriors clashing with the force of thousands of Hulkamaniacs, made for an interesting atmosphere at WM 6. Hogan and Warrior delivered a quality match when neither of them was ever considered to be an elite ring guy. This was an original version of Cena vs Batista in that respect. This also featured Hulk Hogan€™s first clean loss in WWE. Who was the crowd cheering? - Split
