15 Best WWE Debuts For NXT Stars

15. Emma

Few competitors have fallen off between NXT and WWE as much as Emma. In NXT, Emma was one of the most popular women on the roster. Despite her goofy dancing, she was quite a capable wrestler. Emma narrowly lost to Paige to crown the first NXT Women€™s Champion in 2013 and also lost a subsequent title match before being called up to WWE. Appearing in the crowd dancing awkwardly and holding signs reading €œ#Emmalution,€ Emma made her debut in January 2014 and was immediately pitted against her former NXT rival Summer Rae. Sadly, that wasn€™t played up and the WWE rivalry was based on dancing more than in-ring prowess. Worse yet, Emma was partnered with Santino Marella, immediately reducing her to a comic sidekick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGj0lWn7pwE Emma has regressed to the point where she was sent back down to NXT earlier this year, where she is transitioning into a full-fledged heel, feuding with Bayley. At 26, Emma still has time to find something that clicks, but her first foray onto the main roster was a resounding dud.
