Who's Involved: Randy Savage, Miss Elizabeth and Hulk Hogan What Happened: One of the earliest, and most high profile, cases of the love triangle came in the form of the Mega Powers. With the two biggest stars of the 80's in Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, the two combined late in the decade to form the all conquering babyface team managed by the stunning Miss Elizabeth. It didn't take long before Savage became jealous and infuriated by how close Hogan was getting to Elizabeth - Savage's wife - at times, leading to a memorable edition of Main Event when Hogan escorted Elizabeth to the back during a tag team match concerned for her health, leaving the Macho Man stranded in the middle with another man around his girl. Savage would lose his cool backstage and deliver the belt shot to the head of Hogan that signalled the end of the Mega Powers. The feud was set up for a WrestleMania V show down for the Macho Man's WWF championship. Hogan would win the belt and Savage turned heel after the event, ditching the beloved Miss Elizabeth for Sensational Sherri. Who Lost Out: Without Elizabeth at his side and an ill conceived heel turn behind him, Savage struggled to get back to the top after dropping the belt to Hogan. He would only win the WWF Championship once more in his career.
