2. Sammie Coates
One of the other wide receivers Eli Rogers competed for game time with in Pittsburgh with was Sammie Coates, the man they took in round three of the 2015 draft. Though he appeared in six games throughout his first season, he was on the receiving end of just one pass.
His second season saw him involved a lot more, even making two catches in the Steelers' Superbowl LI loss to the New England Patriots. After undergoing surgery for a sports hernia, Coates' career never got back on the same track, and though he was technically part of the eventual Superbowl champion Chiefs in 2019, he was cut again before the season actually started.
The wide receiver will likely be Connor Cook or P.J. Walker's first choice on offense for the Houston Roughnecks in the upcoming XFL season, and will certainly be aiming at catching more than one pass in his first year.
