15 Former NFL Players In Vince McMahon's XFL
1. Landry Jones
Though Landry Jones' NFL career never really took off, he is certainly one of the highest profile players in the XFL. The quarterback played all of his games in the league for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was able to learn from two of the best in Ben Roethlisberger and Michael Vick in his first few seasons.
Through three years with the Steelers, Jones started just five games, and only finished one season with more touchdowns and interceptions. His Steelers career came to an end as the team drafted back up QB Mason Rudolph in 2018, knocking Jones into the realm of expendable.
Two years later, Jones became the first player to sign for the revamped XFL, and will represent the Dallas Renegades in 2020. Though the Steelers came knocking on the door when Roethlisberger went down with an injury in 2019, the move was turned down by the XFL, keeping Jones in Dallas for the first game of the season.
