11. Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries (2012)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD_9XBYmPUQ Austin Aries and Bobby Roode are two of TNA's longest-tenured stars, and more often than not, two of their top heels. They first crossed paths in a major way when Austin Aries ended Roode's record-breaking world championship reign, and they have maintained an on again, off again rivalry ever since. They have also proved to be an extremely cohesive tag team when they manage to get on the same page, at one point winning the TNA tag team championship. They wouldn't stay on the same page for long. Shortly after their title win, the two heels were scheduled to face each other in a match to determine a #1 contender to Jeff Hardy's world championship. Before the match began, Aries and Roode cut a winking promo about both of them being willing to do "what's best for business", culminating in the duo attempting a simultaneous Fingerpoke of Doom. Apparently they had both assumed that the other would "do the right thing", and an argument soon erupted into a full-blown match. Both men pulled out all the stops, including attempting to do the Eddie Guerrero Memorial Phantom Chair Shot to each other AT THE SAME TIME, but all was for naught. Both Roode and Aries were counted out when they left the ring to argue with their tag team rivals, Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero.
