Dolph Ziggler put in a typically athletic performance in the 2013 Rumble, entering at number one and lasting just shy of fifty minutes. Things got off to a good start when Chris Jericho surprisingly drew the number two entry, marking his return to WWE. Jericho also put in a lot of time and last almost as long as The Show Off (47:53) but the match belonged to Dolph. Ziggler eliminated Kofi Kingston, The Godfather and Jericho before being Brogue kicked out of the match by Sheamus, drawing considerable groans from the crowd. It is performances like this that have made Ziggler one of the most respected and beloved WWE superstars of recent years.
