WWE.comMore Steve Austin trivia for you beautiful, beautiful people, now. Fast forward five years from WrestleMania 13, and that face turn Austin endured against Bret Hart had helped him become one of the most iconic stars in WWE history. By the time WrestleMania 18 rolled around, Austin was huge. And that's exactly why the WWE were keen to book him in a match against Hulk Hogan, in a real battle of the generations type match. However, Austin decided he wasn't interested for one reason or the other, and decided it wasn't for him. So instead, Austin was booked into a match with Scott Hall - which was far from the best showing either man has put on. As we know, The Rock stepped up and took the gig, and produced a pretty decent spectacle. Whilst that probably was the case, it's amazing to think Austin turned down the opportunity to main event WrestleMania with Hulk Hogan. Probably not one of his wiser decisions, to be honest.
