The combination of the Intercontinental & Women's Championships has been on the line a couple of times in the past, and was decided in intergender tag team matches. The most recent featured Kofi Kingston & Mickie James defending their respective titles against Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix. With Phoenix pinning Mickie for the victory,she not only won herself the Women's title, but Santino the Intercontinental title at the same time; bringing new meaning to the saying 'sending a woman to a man's job'.
