15 Things We Learned From Shawn Michaels On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast
7. Thoughts On The Evolution Of Triple H's Career
Stone Cold talks about how with the exception of Sean Waltman to an extent, the rest of The Kliq are all out of the business, with the obvious exception of Triple H. He asks Shawn to comment on Hunter and how he's managed to accomplish all that he is, calling his venture with NXT "uncharted waters."
"I'm not surprised by his accomplishments in the ring or out of the ring. He's a bright, together, hard-working dude. In the ring, no surprise whatsoever that he attained the success that he got because he loved it and he was going to make sure that he was good at it. He worked hard."
Austin called him a student of the game and HBK says it makes sense that that would transfer over to his role in the office because those are all things he likes to do; they all work to his strengths. He says that he and Steve don't have the patience to deal with certain things that go on within the industry but Hunter does, adding that he can take it in stride and look at things from the other side. Steve concurs, saying that he's always been passionate but now when you talk to Hunter you can tell that Vince has rubbed off on him and he's able to see the bigger picture with the business end of things. He says he's matured and grown in that aspect and is picking up all the pieces.
