16 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (Feb 12)
3. Samoa Joe Almost Maiming Kofi
The Taz-style suplex Samoa Joe performed on Kofi after being eliminated from the Gauntlet was simply bad ass. It looked for all the world like Kingston's neck had been shattered by the heel. Scarily enough, it could've been had they worked the spot an inch or two closer to the ropes.
Kofi seemed to notice that before leaping into the suplex, and so he stalled to ensure he wouldn't overshoot and potentially end up in hospital.
It's hard to see from the angle in the .GIF above, but Kingston appeared to shuffle his feet backwards slightly so he wouldn't hit the bottom rope flush. Thankfully, it was his arm and shoulder that struck the thing, not his head and neck.
