16 Wrestlers Who Must Feature In WWE's Crown Jewel World Cup

4 - Canada - Kevin Owens

Yes, no, sorry, of course, how silly of me. Of course someone needs this more than Nakamura. Owens needs a highlight to end this year on about as badly as Kenny Omega needs to delete twitter.

In 2018 he's been sacked by SmackDown, quit on Raw, embarrassingly jobbed out to Braun and virtually nowhere in the middle of all that would you say he's "had a good time". 2017 saw a fantastic United States title run and entertaining gimmick with Sami Zayn, 2016 saw him hold the Universal Championship for over 6 months. WWE needs to do something, anything, to arrest this slide.

Yet people still want to see Kevin Owens and see Kevin Owens do well, this is a perfect opportunity for WWE to do both without having to actually commit to anything long-term. A strong showing, maybe an impressive win, just anything to remind fans he's still a top draw.
