10. Rey Isn't Happy With His Post-WWE Matches

When asked what was his favourite match after leaving WWE and returning to AAA and the independent scene, Mysterio expressed frustration with the matches that he's had, citing that, after working for US promotions for nearly 20 years, returning to the 'Mexican Style' of wrestling has been harder than he anticipated. He feels like the fans haven't had a chance to see 'the best of Rey Mysterio.' Rey was unable to pick out a recent match that shone out as his favourite, even the much-hyped 'Dream Match' against Myzteziz (aka the original Sin Cara) at AAA's Triplemania XXIII. It's a tragic irony that his time with US promotions has made it harder for him to return to the style that made him such a popular signing to those companies in the first place.
