13. He Held The IC Title With Chyna
WWE.comJericho has the most IC Title reigns in WWE history with nine. Some of those reigns were really short, but he's still the man that held that title more than anybody else and that's a tremendous accomplishment to be proud of. He got into a feud with Chyna over the IC Title in late 1999. I can still remember being mad as I sat in the crowd and saw him lose to her at Survivor Series 1999. He ended up beating her for it at Armageddon 1999, but then on the last Raw that year they did a double pinfall. Things got confusing because they said Jericho and Chyna were co-IC Champions. Huh? Two people holding one title? It was stupid. They would have another match at Royal Rumble 2000 with Bob Holly also involved that Jericho would win. Apparently it didn't count as another reign for him since he was already a co-champion. The whole thing was very confusing. In his book (the second one titled Undisputed) he talked about how difficult it was to work with Chyna. He also spoke about how Vince McMahon wanted him to not go soft on her, but then when he gave her a black eye he was scolded by McMahon for it. Thankfully WWE learned their lesson from this storyline and never had co-IC Champions again.
