17 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (8 Nov)

New Day's subplot story, The Revival's tribute to Randy Orton and more...

Sami Zayn Shinsuke Nakamura Cesaro Daniel Bryan

Workhorse Inc. could be a thing.

If WWE don't decide to book Daniel Bryan as Bray Wyatt's first Universal Title challenger, then there's a real chance he could join Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. That'd be special, but it might be more important that Wyatt's 'Fiend' has a likeable foe to rescue his title reign from the memory of that HIAC/Crown Jewel misery.

Shoots of light on SmackDown's roster (the aforementioned quartet, Wyatt's menace, Roman Reigns' star power, Bayley's new gimmick etc) are being covered by a routine booking style that's catering to Survivor Series' dullness. Why is it that, every single November, WWE retreat into this 'Us vs. Them' inter-brand shell rather than doing something fresh?

Here's everything you might've missed from the latest episode of WWE's blue brand on FOX, including some awkward presentation given the UK's political backdrop, a unique subplot twist pushed by members of New Day, Scott Dawson having fun with referees, shy fans, not-so-shy fans and The Revival paying homage to a leader that wasn't meant to be.

Embezzlement, dossers and testicles await...
