17 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown (April 14)
Jumping headfirst into mediocirty.
Good old SmackDown. At a time where episodes of Raw are immediately deemed incredible or awful, the Blue Brand churned out a show that was - in every way - completely average.
None of the matches or segments were particularly good or bad, save for another fantastic promo from Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Elsewhere, everything seemed to be on autopilot. Even Mauro Ranallo seemed slightly off his game, slipping more easily into mind-numbing banter with Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler.
Hopefully things get back on track soon, as we rapidly approach Payback on May 1st. This does admittedly seem like a temporary lull, as SmackDown has been a huge improvement in 2016.
Fortunately, as always, we have a plethora of WTF Moments to sort through...
17. Maryse's Jacket
Although a deviation from her usual attire - and therefore a WTF Moment - Maryse's jacket was absolutely perfect for her new role on the roster.
Now that her real-life marriage to The Miz is front and centre, WWE appear to have splashed out on an exquisite golden jacket, exactly the sort of ostentatious clothing one would expect from the Awesome One's spouse.
