Braun Strowman has been forced to pick a partner for his match against The Bar at WrestleMania despite the writers at no point even suggesting that he'd even need one against the allegedly dominant Tag Team Champions.

His victory in a battle royal against all the other doubles acts on Monday Night Raw would have solidified this further had the entire crop of them not already looked like utter buffoons in losses to Sheamus and Cesaro en route. Strowman's awesome ownership of the Monday Night Raw midcard without a title chase hasn't been without merit, but his most recent destruction derbies in matches with Elias didn't appear to forge the unlikely bond between the pair in time for a 'Show Of Shows' shift in fortunes for the former 'Drifter'.

Despite seemingly having no problem crushing the champions on his own, Braun also knows that any man with two hands has a fighting chance, not least if that one man is a heavy-hitting Sheamus or his uppercut-chucking 'Swiss Superman' partner. His most famous victim passed on that nugget of wisdom before he became one of the first to get 'The Monster Among Men's hands. James Ellsworth - plucked from obscurity and self-appointed in spite of the incredulous Strowman's protestation - will be the one not to earn the nod, but to take it.
