19 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 16)

1. Why Baron Corbin Has Bad Luck

This is something most fans have likely forgotten.

Baron Corbin is down on his luck these days. He claims to have lost investments, his car and could lose his house if he's not careful. Why is he suffering such awful hardship? The big sod smashed that mirror back at Money In The Bank 2020, remember?

Since then, he's hardly won any notable matches to speak of and has lost his crown to boot. The poor guy couldn't even qualify for this year's MITB, so maybe he should revisit WWE HQ and apologise to that gym mirror for smashing it with some weight plates.

WWE either had this long-term storyline in mind all along, or they've stumbled upon it accidentally. Whatever the case, it's a cool nod to last summer's smash.
