3. Cody, Miz On Different Planets

While watching the Cody Rhodes/Miz match on Raw Monday night, you could just hear Jim Ross saying, “bowling shoe ugly” as the bout progressed.

The two veterans struggled to get on the same page, as they stumbled around several times, most notably on a Cody surfboard attempt, and then Miz’s try at a diving sunset flip and Rhodes trying to push him off of an attempted Figure Four. Things just looked less than crisp, like someone was having an off night.

Everyone is entitled to a day at work where things don’t click and you struggle. The problem with being a WWE superstar is that your “day at work” is seen on cable TV by a couple of million fans. We don’t want to belabor this criticism, but it still needs to be noted, because what should have been an easy positive became a drawback.
