1. Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels

SummerSlam '05 was meant to be the first leg of a series between Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels, but egos clashed and neither side fancied it after the initial match. Shawn's ridiculous over-selling was considered a slap in the face from Hulk, and ol' Terry apparently didn't want to return the favour by losing to HBK in a rematch anyway.

Michaels was probably just glad to be shot of Hulk.

Their main event remains one of the most curious headliners in WWE history though. Hulk's face mid-beatdown when Shawn starts flopping around the place is worth seeing, but it wasn't all a p*sstake. Some moments midway through even hinted at what might've been possible had they been on the same page.
