After he retired, Michaels appeared occasionally to do promos and things of that nature. He also was a special referee a few times. His most memorable moment as a special ref was at WrestleMania 28 during the "End of an Era" Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and The Undertaker. It was an amazing match that also gave us this parting image with the three man looking back at the appreciative crowd who were cheering wildly for these three legends.
