20 Major WrestleMania Matches We Didn't Get

6. Kurt Angle Vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania 22)

Speaking of Mysterio's title win, it came at the expense of Angle, after the luchador pinned Randy Orton in a triple threat match at the event. According to Angle, The Undertaker himself went to McMahon, and suggested the idea, and it appears that their tremendous match at February's No Way Out was simply the 'consolation prize'. In addition to Angle's claim, he goes on to say in a 2011 interview that Undertaker had volunteered to sacrifice his streak (by now 13-0) to put Angle over. The claim is a dubious one, since Angle seems to be the only one suggesting it. It would take eight years before the streak would officially come to an end, coincidentally at the hands of another amateur wrestling legend.
