20 Most Anticipated Wrestling Matches Of 2026

19. Adam Page vs Eddie Kingston

Cody Rhodes CM Punk
AEW

'Hangman' Adam Page is at the top of the conversation for 'most beloved babyface in AEW history'. Whether it's telling the best long-term story they've had against Kenny Omega and The Elite, or being the poster child for AEW's 2025 redemption, Page is immensely popular. His second AEW World Title reign has been enjoyable so far, but what if AEW threw one of the other men that nobody has a bad word to say about into the championship mix?

Eddie Kingston's severe leg injury was enough to leave grown men in tears. His everyman relatability is evergreen, his toughness radiates from every pore, and he is yet to land the biggest prize in AEW. Perhaps the jewel in Kingston's crown is that he's just as lovable when being a complete bastard as he is when showing his loyalty to the handful of friends he has.

Kingston vs 'Hangman' for the biggest prize in the company would be incredible on every level, especially as they are both loved for being as real as a boot to the face. They both love AEW and thank the company's existence for making them who they are today. It is the ultimate babyface vs babyface encounter that AEW could book, and we'd love to see it.
