20 WWE Stars STRUGGLING Since WrestleMania 40

The Paul Levesque Era has been great for most wrestlers and fans, but not for these WWE stars!

You win some, you lose some, and WWE is no exception to the ups and downs of life. Every match needs to have someone standing tall with their hands held high and another person flat on their back, looking up at the lights.

But when the bad times pile up, and it starts to become more of a pattern, there's more to it than just coincidence or a bad day at the office, and lately, several wrestlers in WWE have been having a rough go about it.

Even after the switch to The Paul Levesque Era with WrestleMania 40 and the massive benefits the roster and fans have received since - along with the 2024 WWE Draft shaking things up with a refresh for Raw, SmackDown and NXT - not everyone is in a better spot than what they were before.

Some are losing matches left and and right, even dropping championships, and losing significant momentum. Others have been missing from action entirely, either due to injuries or WWE creative having nothing in mind for them to do. Friendships have broken down. Factions are fractured. One of these guys even seems to be leaving WWE altogether!

Let's take a look at over 20 WWE wrestlers who are currently struggling right now in this new era.

Tiffany Stratton had an amazing 2023, winning the NXT Women's Championship, Female Superstar of the Year for the NXT Year-End Awards and a Slammy Award for overall NXT Superstar of the Year during WrestleMania weekend. After being drafted to the main roster, it seemed the rocket would be strapped to her with even more fuel.

Sadly, Stratton quickly hit a bump in the road and was taken entirely off course.

Yes, she earned a shot at the WWE Women's Championship rather fast post-Mania, but WWE felt the need to put Naomi in there. It may have been just so Stratton didn't take the pin, but it could also be taken as a sign Stratton was deemed a big enough opponent for Bayley on her own.

Whatever the reasoning - has she in fact been punished for a stunningly ill-advised social media post? - Stratton lost and hasn't bounced back, losing everything since except for an non-televised first round Queen of the Ring match over Michin and a dark match against Tegan Nox.

These days, if Stratton is on screen, she's playing second-fiddle to Nia Jax. It seems she'll be put in a position as an underling, rather than a star of her own, which is a huge step down from where she was a few months ago.
