2017 WWE Superstar Shake-Up Ranked - From Worst To Best

13. Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews was the first individual to move as part of the 2017 Superstar Shake-Up, jumping to RAW after an uninspiring nine months on SmackDown Live. Crews has been tied to Titus O’Neill in the six months since, first as an unconvinced bystander and then a fully fledged member of Titus Worldwide.

The Titus Worldwide stuff has given Apollo a story of sorts, but he is still clearly little more than a bit-part player on RAW. Not everyone can be a main event performer of course, but the current position of someone as obviously gifted as Apollo Crews is a little hard to stomach.

Going into 2017, many observers said that Apollo Crews had it all with the exception of charisma. ‘Give him a manager’ they cried, ‘give him a manager and he will thrive!’ Apollo got a manager and has stayed around the same level. Hopefully the potential arrival of Ricochet will light a fire under Crews, and 2018 will be his breakout year.
