Jeff Hardy's first Raw appearance was way back in 1997, but it wasn't until 1998 that he became a regular on the brand. Along with his brother Matt, he became one of the most popular wrestlers in the Attitude Era, mainly as a result of his daredevil performances in crash and burn matches. Jeff rode that popularity out for four years, before leaving WWE in early 2003. There was a price to pay for his reckless bump taking, and his body was really seized up with pain when he left. Despite that, he had arguably his finest Raw match in the year before he left, a classic ladder encounter with The Undertaker for the WWE Title on the July 1st 2002 Raw. Hardy was back on Raw in 2006, although he was drafted to Smackdown in 2008. He'd done enough in his peak years to achieve 239 Raw matches. He's unlikely to ever return to the company, so that number should now stay the same.
