Some fans may be aware that Kane defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin in a First Blood WWF Title match, but many fans forget that this was actually Kane's first ever pay per view main event. It's pretty rare that happens, winning the big one in your first main event opportunity. Imagine how he must have felt, main eventing for the first time and winning the title, within just eight months of his debut as the big red machine. He must have felt like his career was really going places, but unfortunately he was on a bit of a downward spiral after that night. He lost the belt the very next evening, then ended up relegated to a more mid-card position. Regular main events and titles weren't part of his future.
