After Stone Cold saved Stephanie McMahon from being married to The Undertaker, Austin and Vince became tenuous friends for a brief period. Meanwhile, the Corporate Ministry, headed by Shane McMahon and The Undertaker, claimed to be serving a Higher Power, who after much hype was finally revealed to be...Vince himself. The iconic segment had Vince shouting the famous words, "It's me Austin! It was me all along Austin!" as J.R. called him a "son of a b****". On TV the reveal was ruined slightly by the fact that Vince's face was accidentally revealed by crappy camerawork a few seconds before he pulled the hood off, but still, it was a classically demented plot twist of the Attitude Era.
