25 Best Chris Jericho Moments

Only a few days after capturing the tag titles from Triple H and Steve Austin, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit engaged in the first ever four-way Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match on an episode of Smackdown in May 2001.

Because they had defeated the Two Man Power Trip, Vince McMahon decided to punish the new champions by putting them in the most dangerous match possible: A TLC match against the three teams who had mad the matches famous. 

What followed was heart-stopping bout full of TLC spots that fans have come to expect. As with the tag title match on Raw, a major injury occurred in this match as Chris Benoit attempted his patented diving headbutt from the top rope onto the arena floor but ending up crashing through a table and breaking his neck. Even though Benoit was taken out on a stretcher and would later miss a year, he still returned at the end of the match to climb the ladder and claim the WWF tag team titles.
