10. Chris Jericho vs. Christian - Unforgiven 2004
Unforgiven 2004 was a very forgettable show but one match stood out and saved the show from being a total waste: A ladder match between Christian and Jericho for the Intercontinental title.
The match was of course set up by their WrestleMania bout and, thanks partly to the services of Trish Stratus, Christian won the Intercontinental title in the meantime. At Unforgiven, Jericho looked to take revenge on his former friend and claim a record 7th Intercontinental championship.
Christian and Jericho beat the crap out of each other with the ladder and Jericho managed to lock on the Walls of Jericho on top of the ladder. In a sick spot, Christian shoved over the ladder while Jericho climbed and Chris landed on the edge of the ladder with his tailbone, earning an audible groan from the audience.
In the end, Jericho managed to climb the ladder and claim the Intercontinental belt for his record-setting 7th reign.
