8. Bron Breakker Spears Carlito

At some point, if he’s going to become the WrestleMania headliner WWE is clearly preparing him to be, Bron Breakker is going to have to wrestle great, long matches on a consistent basis. That shouldn’t be the minimum requirement, but that, sadly, is how wrestling works in this modern era.

Breakker has only shown this on a few occasions. If the evidence of what Breakker can become is inconclusive, the proof of who he is now is irrefutable: the guy is an awe-inspiring force of nature who does things so cool and unhinged that it is surely impossible not to go crazy for him. Even in this tedious era of tribalism, Breakker is equipped with an objective awesomeness that transcends preference and speaks to people in the primal language of pure bloodlust.

Breakker is a stupidly impressive athletic specimen - a brick sh*thouse who by wrestling standards might as well be an Olympic-level sprinter. In one of the best spots of the year, his irresistible blend of pace and power was channelled to jaw-dropping effect back in April.

He spotted Carlito by the ring. Bron accelerated to a frightening level and speared him. Really, it was less of a spear, and more of a full-force flying headbutt aimed directly at Carlito’s balls, delivered with such abandon that Bron almost landed on top of his head.

Cartlito spent a few years getting paid to do next to nothing in a WWE ring since returning. It was charming. For taking this one bump alone, he earned it all.
