25 Lamest WrestleMania Moments Of All Time

16. WrestleMania XXVII - Daniel Bryan Pulled, Khali Wins

WWE.com

WWE fans were excited to see plucky underdog Daniel Bryan make his WrestleMania debut in 2011, but the hardcore fans who had watched Bryan for years on the independent scene couldn't wait. Bryan's reign as United States Champion was unceremoniously cut short by Sheamus on an episode of Raw in March, but at WrestleMania, the former American Dragon would have the chance to reclaim his title in a lumberjack match.

In the end, the match transformed into something unrecognizable. It was bumped to the pre-show, so only fans in attendance would be able to witness it, and when the lumberjacks all interfered and rendered the match a no contest, the bout was restarted - as a non-title battle royal, which The Great Khali ended up winning.

WrestleMania XXVII was a show that could have used another good match, but instead, two talented superstars were denied a chance to show their abilities on the grandest stage of all.
