6. WrestleMania VII - Blindfold Match
Quick, what's the only thing worse than a wrestling match where the participants can't see each other? That's right - a bout where they have to pretend they can't see each other. When 'The Model' Rick Martel temporarily blinded Jake 'The Snake' Roberts with a spray of his Arrogance cologne, the future WWE Hall of Famer had to adjust to a life without sight.
When he finally got his vision back and was able to compete, he decided to show Martel just what 'The Model' had inflicted upon him... so Roberts made the challenge for a blindfold match. As a story, it made perfect sense. Unfortunately, the match itself was excruciating. After 8 1/2 hours (wait, minutes? Really?) of Martel anxiously stumbling around the ring and Roberts pointing randomly to try and get the crowd to show him where his opponent was, 'The Snake' managed to grab Martel, hit the DDT, and score the victory. Thankfully, the blindfold match did not become a staple of WWE programming.
