25 Most Important Wrestlers In NXT History
11. Charlotte
The Four Horsewomen were such a key part of NXT's success and the first Horsewoman to taste gold was The Nature Girl herself.
The daughter of wrestling legend Ric Flair, Charlotte debuted for NXT in 2013 and quickly established herself as a top name. Alongside her fellow Horsewomen, Charlotte helped to elevate women's wrestling in WWE and made herself a huge star in the process.
Charlotte captured the NXT Women's Championship at the very first NXT TakeOver event in 2014, defeating Natalya in the finals of a tournament. The younger Flair would hold the belt for 258 days, defending the title against the likes of Summer Rae, Bayley, and Sasha Banks.
Being the daughter of Ric Flair certainly helped Charlotte get over in her early days, but she quickly established herself as her own character in NXT and became the face of a women's division that was rapidly gaining legendary status
WWE have done everything in their power to make Charlotte their biggest female star in history since getting called up to the main roster. Whilst her reputation may have been soured a little by WWE's constant pushing of her, in NXT, she was an organically-over star who was part of a true revolution.
