NXT's first full-length special ended with the modern day PAC capturing the NXT Championship. This should tell you everything you need to know about how much he was valued by the black and yellow show at the time.

The Geordie star used to be known as Adrian Neville before WWE unceremoniously axed his first name on the main roster.

Neville made history when he became one half of the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions alongside Oliver Grey. If you're wondering who Oliver Grey is, don't wonder too hard, because there isn't anything on his Wikipedia page after he won the NXT Tag Team Championships.

After going solo, Neville quickly gained attention for his incredible moveset and unique physique. He was involved in a programme with then-NXT Champion and former tag team partner, Bo Dallas, which culminated at Arrival, when Neville won the title in NXT's first ever ladder match. He would hold the title for 287 days.

For his contributions to both the early days of the tag team division and later the main event scene in NXT, Neville must be regarded as one of the brand's most important stars. Just don't expect WWE to tell you that ever again.
