20. The Miz's 8-Day WWE Championship Reign

The Miz has and will always be a superstar who splits opinion. For every person who reveres 'The A-Lister' for being one of wrestling's only "all-rounders", capable of everything from run as the company's top heel to kissing babies at public appearances, there are a slew of detractors ready to disparage his quality and credibility.

Whatever your view on Miz, fans everywhere had to feel sorry for him after his 2nd run with the WWE Championship ended after just 8 days. He may have won the Money In The Bank briefcase from Otis in ludicrous fashion in 2020 (including a courtroom situation being officiated by Judge JBL), but when Miz cashed in on Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber to claim the WWE Championship, it felt as though he would finally get the chance to improve on his heavily maligned first reign.

After doing a good job of restoring the Intercontinental Championship's prestige a few years earlier, Miz instead held the belt for just 8 days before being dethroned by Bobby Lashley on the March 1st episode of Raw. It currently remains the last time he held a singles title, too.
