25 Worst Wrestling Moments Of 2023

23. The Outcasts

The Outcasts
AEW

In 2026, AEW has a plethora of unions for people to believe in within its women's division. Whether it's the obnoxious Britishness of The Brawling Birds, the ever-improving star power of The Triangle Of Madness, or the charisma magnet that is The Timeless Lovebombs, Tony Khan has really found a groove with stables and teams throughout his female roster.

This is said to point out that we've come a long way from the abysmal Outcasts team put together in 2023.

Effectively built as a stable to back up Saraya, it was a cliche-ridden mess that drew way too much from the sports entertainment world that AEW had built its success on distancing itself from. That stands to reason, with Toni Storm and Ruby Soho being ex-WWE employees alongside the former Paige, but everything about this stable failed in its lame attempts to goad fans for being fans of non-WWE wrestling.

Chris Jericho's attempt at this same trick with Daniel Garcia, 2.0 and the Jericho Appreciation Society felt like it had the right chops, but fell victim to bad timing. Vince McMahon's departure from WWE forced a change in creative direction that killed all the jabs being made. The Outcasts, by contrast, leaned on self-satisfied insults towards fans and had endless, boring conclusions to their matches.
