With NXT ushering in a purported new era last night with the first broadcast under the NXT 2.0 mantle, that show saw the debut of not one, not two, but three second-generation talents.

The person making the most headlines after last night, is Bron Breakker. The real-life Bronson Rechsteiner - as in, the son of Rick Steiner, the nephew of Scott Steiner - this past weekend saw Bronson's ring name initially changed to Rex Steiner. Now, though, it appears that WWE has completely dropped the Steiner part, debuting the 23-year-old under the Bron Breakker name.

While that name has certainly raised a few eyebrows for the wrong reasons, Breakker's in-ring work certainly raised eyebrows for the right reasons. After handily defeating LA Knight in the opening match of the night, Bron ended this NXT episode by having a respectful exchange with new NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.

Elsewhere, Cal Bloom was last night repacked as Von Wagner. Again, some may question that new ring name, but Wagner is another who impressed, with him getting a chance at the NXT Title on this show. After Kyle O'Reilly was attacked by Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland earlier in the night, Wagner was selected as KOR's replacement in the four-way battle to crown a new NXT Champion. Von is the son of Wayne Bloom, who was one half of the AWA's Destruction Crew and appeared as Beau of the Beverly Brothers in the then-WWF.

One other second-generation name who may have snuck under the radar of son is Brooks Jensen. Jensen appeared in a tag team alongside Josh Briggs, losing to Imperium on last night's show. Brooks is Ben Buchanan, the son of former WWE Tag Team Champion Bull Buchanan.

Away from second-generation stars, the inaugural NXT 2.0 broadcast also featured the debuts of Trick Williams (Matrick Belton), Tony D'Angelo (Joe Ariola) and Ivy Nile (Emily Andzulis).
