3 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Nov 8)

2. A New Force Arrives

Impact's Knockouts division took a turn for the better this week as a new name was added to the roster this week. That woman? 'Thick Mama Pump' Jordynne Grace. The indie standout was victorious over Katarina in convincing fashion, picking up the submission victory with a bearhug. Not often you see a bearhug ending matches nowadays.

Grace has been in the eyes of many wrestling fans as of late, becoming the latest independent sensation that WWE will no doubt have their eyes on sooner rather than later. It's crystal clear why everyone's been speaking about her though. Jordynne's dedication in the gym is what's boosted her up the ranks of the indie wrestling scene, and has made her standout amongst the other women around her.

Impact management need to capitalise on her abilities while they can. Sure, matches that are essentially nothing but squashes are fine for the time being until fans get used to her mixing it up with the other knockouts, but she'll soon need to be having marquee matches with the likes of Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie. She's too good to waste.
