7. Roll-Up Fest Continues

It’s understandable that because of the global pandemic, R-Truth can’t defend or pursue the 24/7 Championship on a golf course, or in a plane, or in a hotel room, or at a wedding.

Instead, a title whose fate rides or dies with entertaining and interesting scenarios for “defenses” has been relegated to a series of rollups inside the Amway Center for the past couple months (and the WWE Performance Center before that). We’ve been reduced to having the “24/7 division” compete in an utterly meaningless tag match so Truth can wander through it, get rolled up for a bunch of 2 counts and then flee.

Sure, there are limitations, but maybe that’s the clearest sign that the title needs to be put on ice. Hell, have a bear win it next week and have it go into hibernation for the winter. That’ll at least buy them a couple of months.
