3 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (April 5)

2. King Corbin Main-Events Again

Does King Corbin have compromising photos of Vince McMahon or something? How does a heat vacuum like that guy continue to get pushed as an upper-card villain?

The guy is a perpetual loser, but he got a nearly 20-minute match with the guy who beat Brock Lesnar in five minutes last year. And the match itself was nothing special, just the same, boring moves we’ve been subjected to for Corbin’s entire WWE run. The guy legit has not changed his limited moveset in five years on the main roster.

And for Drew McIntyre, who is supposed to be heading into WrestleMania against a dominant WWE Champion, taking nearly 20 minutes to topple this guy was just terrible… and boring. It doesn’t make you want to see Bobby Lashley versus McIntyre. It makes you wish you had those 20 minutes of your life back.

But hey, thank God WWE broke up the Hurt Business so Corbin could serve as the hired gun for the WWE Champion.
