3 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's Impact Wrestling (Aug 23)
1. Callihan Stands Tall
Sami Callihan has made a statement on the Impact locker room since his arrival, a man who isn't afraid to speak his mind and do whatever he pleases. The oVe leader continued his dastardly ways with a victory over Pentagon Jr. in this week's main event, a Mexican Death Match.
Fresh off a phenomenal mask vs hair encounter at Slammiversary, these two men once again delivered with another match of the year contender for Impact Wrestling. They're two of the best on the Impact roster in general but especially when it comes to brawling. Their use of the environment is second to none and unlike their match in July, this one featured no interference. It didn't need to, the guys in the ring told enough of a story.
With this victory, does Sami continue targeting the Lucha Brothers or move on to other things?
