30 Most INSANE Things Wrestlers Have EVER Said On Live TV

26. Tater Tots

Roman Reigns had endured questionable booking for over a year when he fired off his most awkward comeback yet against WWE Champion Sheamus, following ‘The Great White’s’ Survivor Series 2015 Money in the Bank cash-in.

And he repeated it. Again. And again. And again.

Sneering as he delivered the weak groin-related insult “Tater Tots”, Reigns’ confidence grew disproportionately as he desperately tried to get the audience to latch onto the phrase. They of course did not, making for a deafening silence as he persevered down another wretched path.

It was yet another example of WWE’s failed attempt at fan manipulation when it came to 'The Big Dog'. The line was seemingly meant to be a one-time quip designed to spark a crowd chant, but for the second time that year, it became painfully obvious that Roman Reigns was no Rock. While ‘The Great One’ could make garbage phrases like “Kung Pow B*tch,” “Boots to Asses,” and “Cookiepuss” work, Reigns needed to endure another five years of creative hell before he found wrestling heaven.
