But he didn't wrestle, instead he poked Nash in the chest. The big guy went down hard and Hogan made the cover to become the new champion, reforming the N.W.O in the process. It became known as the fingerpoke of doom, and is now viewed as the point of no return for WCW's credibility. Things would never be the same again and it really marked the end of WCW as a pro wrestling power. The WWF started running away with the Monday night war.
