7. End Of An Era
The Undertaker, Triple H, and special guest referee Shawn Michaels embrace after their 'End of an Era' Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania XVIII.
WrestleMania XVII saw Triple H lose to The Undertaker, but it was the victor who had to be helped from the arena. This played into the following year's 'End of an Era' match, with the Deadman determined to be prove that he could beat the Game decisively. As if the Hell in a Cell stipulation wasn't enough to ramp up the intensity, the presence of Shawn Michaels as special guest referee sent things into overdrive.
This match featured perhaps the most convincing near fall of 'Taker's entire streak, as he ate a Sweet Chin Music/Pedigree combination which had even the most confident of the Deadman's supporters worried. Eventually he was able to prevail, and the three sportingly helped one another to the back - stopping to take a final bow along the way.
