26. Claire Lynch (1 April)
The notorious Claire Lynch died on 1 April of natural causes, though her death remained private until her cousin wrote on Facebook two months later that her body had been discovered in her home after she had no-showed a scheduled appearance.
Real name Julia Reilly, the actress and presenter is best remembered amongst wrestling fans for her on-screen blackmailing of AJ Styles. She was hired by TNA in 2012 to act as a supposed drug addict who was being helped through her rehabilitation program by AJ Styles and Dixie Carter before her (storyline) pregnancy was used to blackmail Styles at the urging of AJ's on-screen rivals, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian.
Lynch quit TNA immediately after the soap opera-like revelation, citing her participation in the repulsive storyline as being potentially detrimental to her career. She didn't discuss TNA any further before she passed away.
